Guest line-up for IFTAs announced

The stars who will be attending this weekend's Irish Film and Television Awards in Dublin have been announced.

Among the acting nominees who will be attending the ceremony at the Convention Centre on Saturday, 12 February are: Pierce Brosnan, Saoirse Ronan, Brendan Gleeson, Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Colm Meaney, Stephen Rea, Amy Huberman and Charlene McKenna.

Special guests at the awards will include 'Sex and the City' star Kim Cattrall, 'Coronation Street's Michelle Keegan, 'The Tudors' stars Joely Richardson, Joss Stone and Natalie Dormer, 'The Wire' and 'Love/Hate' star Aiden Gillen, 'Harry Potter' star Evanna Lynch and Colin O'Donoghue, soon to be seen on Irish cinema screens opposite Anthony Hopkins in the thriller 'The Rite'.

Also attending the event will be Pat Kenny, Miriam O'Callaghan, Gay Byrne, Bill O'Herlihy, Gráinne Seoige, Tommy Tiernan, Craig Doyle, Ray D'Arcy, Kathryn Thomas, Dáithí Ó Sé, Hector Ó hEochagáin, Sinéad Desmond, Deirdre O'Kane, Mark Cagney, Lorraine Keane and Laura Whitmore.

The Irish Film and Television Awards will be broadcast live on RTÉ One on Saturday, 12 February from 9:30pm.
