'Eastenders' actress Patsy Palmer has given birth to her fourth child, a baby boy named Bertie.
38-year-old Palmer welcomed Bertie, who arrived a month early, after spending three weeks in the hospital. She has two other children with her taxi-driver husband Richard Merkell and an older son, Charley, from a previous relationship. The couple are parents to nine-year-old Fenton and eight-year-old Emilia.
A friend is quoted in The Sun as saying "Patsy's waters broke a few weeks ago and she was rushed to hospital. To be on the safe side she stayed in. Bertie arrived last Wednesday and the family are all over the moon."
The actress returned to 'Eastenders' in 2008 after nearly a decade away from Albert Square. She remarried former screen husband, Ricky Butcher, last February and in March her character was voted the ‘Most Popular TV Mum’ in a Yahoo online poll.
