The Overtones have said that they are "intrigued" by the idea of playing at the wedding of Britain's Prince William and Kate Middleton.
The group commented on the possibility of singing at the ceremony after newspaper reports tipped them to perform at the event next April.
In a statement, The Overtones said: “We are intrigued by this idea and, although we have not been formally invited yet, should we be we would be honoured to perform at Prince William and Kate Middleton’s wedding reception. "
"We’d be delighted to play such an important part in helping them to celebrate their marriage and let's face it, you can't have a wedding without some 'Good Ol' Fashioned Love’.”
