'Desperate Housewives' creator Marc Cherry has been speaking about the return of the villainous Paul Young (Mark Moses) to Wisteria Lane.

Cherry was asked by TVGuide.com's William Keck about why Paul was using his wrongful conviction compensation to buy up houses on Wisteria Lane in the new series.
Keck says that Paul "plans to fill them [the houses] with undesirables and transform the hood" and that the move is "all part of his wicked scheme to pit the neighbours against one another".
'Desperate Housewives' continues on RTÉ Two tonight, Tuesday 26 October, at 9:55pm.
