Former 'Britain's Got Talent' star Faryl Smith has said that she is really looking forward to her first ever Irish performance tomorrow night.

The young singer will be joining former G4 and 'X Factor' star Jonathan Ansell and the RTÉ Concert Orchestra for a show at the National Concert Hall.

Speaking to RTÉ TEN at her rehearsals today, Faryl Smith said: "I've never been to Ireland."

"It's not just that it's my first time singing here, I've never been here."

"And I'm not just saying it but the people are very, very nice here. So yeah, I'm looking forward to it."

When asked how her rehearsals were going, she said: "Really well. It's been going very well. The orchestra are really, really good."

Referring to performing with Jonathan Ansell, she said: "Jonathan is so, so nice and it's really, really nice to collaborate with different people."

Faryl Smith and Jonathan Ansell will be performing popular and classical solos and duets (including 'Amazing Grace', 'Danny Boy', 'Ave Maria' and 'Somewhere') with the RTÉ Concert Orchestra, conducted by David Brophy, at the National Concert Hall on Wednesday 20 October.
