John and Edward Grimes have signed a lucrative advertising deal with Nintendo, according to a report.
The Sun says the deal is worth £250,000 to the hyperactive Irish twins who shot to fame last year after making it to the live finals of 'The X Factor'. They are set to shoot a video and pose for posters next week for a campaign for the Christmas advertising market.
A source is quoted as saying "They are still the number one choice for brands which appeal to kids. Nintendo have snapped them up for Christmas." The quote continued: "The twins are pulling in £30k every time they turn up to parties and corporate gigs. Then they have record sales, a book deal, TV shows, sponsorship deals and a pantomime.
"But they don't spend any money. They live on tuna and sweetcorn and live at home when they are not in hotels."
Jedward are reported to have attracted such a large number of younger viewers for ITV last year that rates were upped for advertising around 'The X Factor'.
