'Big Brother' housemate Mario Mugan has sparked a rumour frenzy that he’s linked to the Mafia.
Mario, 28, who is half Italian and half English, is up for eviction tomorrow.
He has told his fellow housemates that if he goes, he will spill the beans about "a big secret" he has been keeping.
So are you watching Big Brother?
At first the group thought the fashion designer, 28, was related to the Prada family because of his love of designer gear. Others speculated that he might be a prince.
However, the mystery deepened when the housemates started talking about Mario’s possible wealth
Ex-soldier Steve Gill, 40, said: "Your parents are rich ... so you’ll be all right when it’s time to pick up the will."
Mysterious Mario then alluded to the fact that he might have murderous Mafia links. He said: "Yes, I’ll be all right.
"But I need to arrange a few assassinations ... oops, I mean accidents."
Then he went into a long monologue about how he loved Sicily, where the Mafia was founded.
A Channel 4 spokeswoman said: "If Mario has a big secret it’s not something we know about."
