'The Clinic' star Leigh Arnold has reportedly split from her entrepreneur boyfriend Marcus Sweeney.
According to The Herald, Sweeney's decision to extend his stay in Dubai is being blamed for the break-up.
A source close to the couple explained: "Nothing was set in stone when Marcus went over to Dubai, himself and Leigh were always going to play it by ear and see how things went.
"She spent three weeks over there with him during the summer and she had a great time, but it also helped them realise that if they weren't going to be living in the same country, what was the point? Now Marcus has said that he may stay over there for several years, as he loves it so much.
"He loves the weather and the flash lifestyle, and the fact no one knows him as the former fiance of Katy French is another big bonus. He has reinvented himself there."
