The 4 Of Us are set to play a Dublin gig on 1 March at Vicar St.
The band, centred around Newry-born brothers Brendan and Declan Murphy, had their first No 1 hit with the song 'Mary' in 1989, from the album 'Songs For The Tempted'.
'Songs for the Tempted' achieved Double Platinum status in Ireland and entered the Top 10 in the US College Charts, while the single 'Drag My Bad Name Down' remained on the national Billboard Chart in the US for four weeks.
The band went on to release the album 'Man Alive' in 1993, which also went Double Platinum in Ireland and was voted one of Q magazine's Top 50 albums.
'Classified Personal' (1999) also achieved Double Platinum status. It was followed by 'Off The Record' in 2000, a collection of remixed highlights from the band's first three albums.
Tickets for the gig at Vicar St on Saturday 1 March cost €18.50 and are available from Ticketmaster.
