Sligo Rovers are preparing for a big weekend, with the official opening of a new development at The Showgrounds this weekend, followed by a friendly match with Accrington Stanley.
The club is based on a 12-acre site in the centre of Sligo and it has used the on-the-field success of recent years to help fund the new facilities.
Among the guests this weekend will be Republic of Ireland manager Martin O'Neill.
