Derry City, Sligo Rovers and holders Shamrock Rovers are all through to the semi-finals of the Setanta Cup after seeing off Linfield, Glentoran and Cliftonville in Tuesday night’s second-leg fixtures.
Locked at 1-1 after the first leg, the Candystripes came from behind to record a 3-1 win, with Barry Molloy, Stephen McLaughlin and Simon Madden all on target.
Sligo Rovers took a 2-0 advantage to the Oval and fell behind to a first-half Glentoran goal from Sean Ward.
But Danny North scored a late penalty to see the Bit o’ Red safely through.
Shamrock Rovers went through after a penalty shootout at Solitude .
Cliftonville won the game 2-0, mirroring the result of the first leg, but Rovers won the penalty shootout 3-1.
Bohemians are out after a 2-0 defeat at home to Crusaders.
