Martin O'Neill has named a 37-man provisional squad for the Republic of Ireland's Euro 2016 qualifiers with Gibraltar and Germany.

The squad will be reduced ahead of a planned meeting on 7 October.

Ireland take on Gibraltar on 11 October at the Aviva Stadium, before travelling to Gelsenkirchen to play Germany three days later.

Conor Sammon, who scored the winner for Ipswich against Wigan in the English Championship last night, is included and Paul Green returns after injury, while Joey O'Brien misses out because of a knock. 

Ireland will be hoping to build on the 2-1 win over Georgia in their opening qualifier.
