Dundalk will face one of Viktoria Plzen, Red Bull Salzburg, Celtic, APOEL Nicosia and Legia Warsaw with a place in the group stage at stake for Stephen Kenny’s men.
The Lilywhites have seen off FH of Iceland and BATE Borisov so far in the competition.
Premier League side Manchester City will also be part of the draw. They will take on Roma, Steaua Bucharest, Monaco, Young Boys or Rostov.
RTÉ will broadcast the Wednesday night fixture involving Dundalk.
The draw is at 11am on Friday.
