Tonight's SSE Airtricity League Premier Division clash between St Patrick's Athletic and Shamrock Rovers has been called off due to a waterlogged pitch.

Following a pitch inspection at Richmond Park on Friday evening, it was decided that the game would not go ahead.

Saints manager Liam Buckley, Rovers boss Pat Fenlon and referee Dave McKeon all inspected the pitch, which had been significantly affected by the the inclement weather in Dublin.

The game will now be played next Monday with a kick-off time of 7.45pm.
