St Patrick’s Athletic 5-0 Ballinamallard Utd (Agg: 6-0)

St Patrick’s Athletic secured an easy victory over Fermanagh side Ballinamallard Utd for a 6-0 aggregate win following their 1-0 victory at Richmond Park.

Mark Quigley opened the scoring for the home side on 12 minutes, before Conan Byrne bagged a brace to make it 3-0 at half-time.

Quigley added another in the 62nd minute after good build-up play by Chris Forrester and Daryl Kavanagh made it five on the night, three minutes from the end.

Sligo Rovers 5-0 Crusaders (Agg: 9-1)

Sligo Rovers, leading 4-1 over Crusaders after the first leg, took only 11 minutes to wrap this match up with Evan McMillan finding the net.

By half time Rovers led 3-0 thanks to a Danny North double, while Ross Gaynor added to Crusaders' woes on the hour mark with another.

And Liam Flatley found the bottom corner five minutes from time to cap an impressive debut by the winger.

Coleraine 0-2 Dundalk (Agg: 3-4)

Dundalk headed to the Showgrounds in Coleraine trailing 2-3 after their first leg encounter at Oriel Park, and so needing to win by two clear goals to progress.

And the Louth side left it until injury time to seal their place in the next round with Stephen O'Donnell the hero.

Pat Hoban gave the visitors all they encouragement they needed with the opening goal on 51 minutes after being fed by John Mountney.

And Coleraine looked to be heading through until captain O'Donnell's last-gasp winner from outside the box.
