Connacht have received a boost today with the news that former Australian international Lock Forward, Warwick Waugh, has signed for the province. 33-year-old Waugh played for Australia in the 1995 World Cup. Connacht had been looking for an experienced second row forward, after former captain Mark O'Connell was injured. Waugh comes to Connacht from the French club side Bezier.
Connacht's opening competitive match this season is away to Scottish side, Borders, in the Celtic League on the 30th of August.
