Irish mixed coxed fours place fourth in repechage

On their second day at Eton Dorney, the Irish mixed coxed fours gave a strong performance this morning as they finished fourth in the repechage.

The Irish boat stroked by Kevin Du Toit, with Sarah Caffrey, Shane Ryan and Anne-Marie McDaid make up the quartet, with Helen Arbuthnot as cox, finished fourth in the repechage with a time of 3:34:85, behind the crews from Ukraine, China and Canada.

The Irish boat has now progressed to final B which takes place tomorrow morning at 10.30am, where the crews will be ranked in order of performance.
