The Olympic Council of Ireland is to elect a new president in February.
A statement released by the OCI confirmed that an EGM will take place on 9 February where elections for all positions on the executive committee will be held.
Nominations for the positions will close on 11 January.

Pat Hickey, who has been president since 1989, stepped aside from the role after his arrest in Rio during the Olympics in relation to an investigation into alleged ticket touting.
He has denied all allegations made against him.
Hickey is not expected to stand for re-election, having previously indicated a desire to step down following the Rio games.
