Skywalker Puma wins Irish Derby at Shelbourne Park

Skywalker Puma won the Irish Ladbrokes Derby at Shelbourne Park this evening, claiming the €120,000 top prize for owner Ray Patterson and trainer Frances O’Donnell.

Skywalker Puma caught Cuil Cougar on the closing bend to win the Derby in a time of 29.39.

Last year’s winner Razldazl George was never really in contention and had to settle for third.

Skywalker Puma returned a 2/1 winner.
