Seanie Johnston plays in club hurling game

Seanie Johnston made his debut for Coill Dubh in the Kildare Hurling Championship today, playing just 90 seconds to make him eligible for the inter-county footballers in the Leinster Championship.

Johnston started the club game and failed to touch the ball before being substituted after 90 seconds.

The former Cavan footballer needed to play in a club encounter in order to be able to line out for Kildare under a new rule imposed this year.
