Conor McGregor insists he will have “a lot more in the tank this time” when he faces Nate Diaz for their re-match at UFC 202 on 20 August.
Diaz cause a shock when defeating featherweight world champion McGregor by submission at UFC 196 in March.
The Crumlin man, who had come up two weight divisions to meet Diaz at welterweight, started aggressively in their first meeting, but faded in the second round under pressure and Diaz locked him in a choke hold to force his opponent to tap out.
And while the ‘Notorious’ one said that he will again attack Diaz, he insists this time he'll be better equipped to deal with the Californian.
McGregor said: “I am going to play the exact same game
“I am going to press forward, I’m going to butcher him on the feet, only I’m going to have a lot more in the tank this time. This is the one. This is where I put everything to rest.”
