Brendan Cummins will set a new appearance record for Tipperary when he takes his place between the posts in Sunday week's All-Ireland SHC semi-final against Limerick.
The All Star goalkeeper joined John Doyle on 54 Championship appearances when the Premier County claimed their 38th Munster title against Waterford on 12 July.
The Ballybacon-Grange clubman, who has won the Liam McCarthy on one occasion in 2001, will now surpass Doyle's record against Limerick.
