Reigning champion Robbie McCarthy and Eoin Kennedy will clash in the final of the M Donnelly All-Ireland 60x30 Senior Singles next weekend after both men came through their semi-finals in style.

Westmeath'cs McCarthy, who lost to Kennedy in his first two final appearances before turning the tables to record a three-in-a-row, was in devastating form as he blitzed Meath's Brian Carroll 21-9, 21-3 in the first of the semis, with Kennedy seeing off veteran Michael 'Ducksy' Walsh 21-6, 21-10 in the other tie.

The senior final takes place next Saturday at Abbeylara, Co Longford, with McCarthy certain to enter as favourite, although Dubliner Kennedy (35) has rolled back the years with some sensational performances this summer.

Meanwhile, Cork's Catriona Casey and Aisling O'Keeffe won the ladies 60x30 Senior Doubles crown with a 21-10, 21-18 victory over Kerry's Maria Daly and Ashley Prendiville.
