Fermanagh produced a heroic performance to score a shock 1-09 to 1-07 win over Derry at Brewster Park, and extend their unbeaten Dr McKenna Cup run to two games.
Now Pete McGrath’s side need just a draw with Donegal in their midweek game to make it through to the semi-finals.
Sean Quigley emerged as the hero with the late goal that swung it for the Erne men.
Derry led by 0-5 to 0-4 at the halfway stage, with Mark Craig and Mark Lynch hitting the target for the Oak Leafers.
James McMahon and Ryan Jones kept the Ernesiders in touch, but Derry led by two after Benny Heron crashed home a goal.
But Quigley came up with the golden score seven minutes from the end, and Fermanagh held on to win by two points.
Holders Tyrone are also unbeaten, following their 1-12 to 0-3 win over St Mary’s at Omagh.
Three Connor McAliskey points helped the Red Hands to a 0-5 to 0-2 half-time lead, with the students down to 14 men following the dismissal of defender James Morgan, who picked up a black card after being booked.
Patrick Quinn’s 43rd minute goal put the home side in a strong position, moments after St Mary’s attacker Jerome Johnston had a penalty saved by Mickey O’Neill.
Mickey Harte's charges finished strongly with points from Sean Cavanagh, Kyle Coney, Rory Brennan and Cathal McShane.
Armagh defeated Antrim by 2-11 to 1-4 at Creggan, with the help of goals from Stefan Forker and Oisin MacIomhair.
Ace attacker Jamie Clarke, selected in the half-back line, was sent off on a second booking.
Down scored their first win in the competition, beating Monaghan by 1-12 to 0-11 at Clones.
The Mourne men got off to a dream start with a Donal O’Hare goal after just 20 seconds, and led by 1-5 to 0-7 at the break, after Daniel McKenna and Darren Hughes had responded for Monaghan.
But it was Paul Devlin who popped up with the two late points that secured a first success for new manager Jim McCorry.
Donegal bounced back from last week’s defeat with a 2-16 to 1-8 win over Queen's.
