Noel Connelly and Pat Holmes will become the next managers of the Mayo senior football team.
Their names were today put forward for ratification by the interview committee on Saturday and will be put to the Mayo County Board during the week
Kevin McStay and Liam Mc Hale had also been linked with the position but were unsuccessful.
Connelly-Holmes have scored success with Mayo in the past when guiding the county to an All-Ireland Under-21 title in 2006.
