Brian McGuigan has returned to the Tyrone squad as manager Mickey Harte deals with an injury crisis ahead of their Ulster Championship campaign.
The player was back training with the county on Thursday and took part in an in-house training match in Clogher.
He may now be ready to face the Orchard county on Sunday week.
Seán Cavanagh is the latest in a string of Red Hand attackers to be ruled out for the rest of the season.
