All-Ireland finals days in camogie should have lady officials, according to Cyril Farrell

Arising out of a conversation regarding the refereeing of Sunday's All-Ireland senior camogie final between Cork and Tipperary, RTÉ analyst Cyril Farrell believes now is the time for female officials to oversee key inter-county games in camogie.

Farrell made it clear on The Sunday Game that his views were in no way connected with how John Dolan handled the O'Duffy Cup decider. However, he felt that after 110 years of the camogie association, "a lady referee. lady umpire and lady linesperson" should be in place for the big games.

Meanwhile, fellow analyst and current Wexford player Mags D'Arcy called for the GAA family as a whole to unite in the officiating of the various codes.
