Clare hurling manager Davy Fitzgerald was admitted to hospital in Dublin this morning to undergo tests over a health concern.

Fitzgerald checked into a Galway clinic last night and was transferred to Dublin today.

The Clare Hurling management are still hopeful that Fitzgerald will be on the sideline for Sunday's All-Ireland Hurling Championship quarter-final with Galway at Semple Stadium.
