A number of Kerry and Donegal players are facing potential retrospective bans following the bad-tempered clash between the sides in the Allianz League at the weekend.
Two players were sent off in Tralee but the GAA's Central Competitions Control Committee are believed to be looking at a number of other incidents from the game.
It is believed that Donegal's Neil McGee could be expected to explain the incident which led to Kerry's Alan Fitzgerald striking him, while the actions of players from both sides following the melee which saw Donegal’s Leo McLoone sent off may also be scrutinised.
Along with the two dismissals there were a host of black and yellow cards, while managers Eamonn Fitzmaurice and Rory Gallagher were summoned to referee Eddie Kinsella's dressing room at half-time.
The CCCC are holding a conference call this morning, where they will view video footage of the match and review Kinsella’s referee report, with fines and bans for both sides a real possibility.
