Kieran Kingston has been appointed as the new manager of the Cork hurking team.
Kingston served as a selector under former boss Jimmy Barry-Murphy from 2012 to 2014.
He was a member of the 1986 and 1990 All-Ireland winning sides for the Rebels.
Tomás Mulcahy and Christy Cooney had been linked with the position, but Kingston has won out on a two-year term.
I would like to congratulate Kieran Kingston on his appointment as manager of cork senior hurling team - I wish all t best for future -
