Wexford inter-county hurler Andrew Shore will be available to play football and hurling this year after his 48-week ban for playing with a club in Britain when registered with a club in Ireland was rescinded.
Shore had the ban rescinded after going in front of the GAA's Reinstatement Committee at Annual Congress in Cavan on Friday night.
The dual player, who plays with Parnells in Dublin and who was formerly of Davidstown-Courtnacuddy was given a 48-week ban by the Warwickshire County Board last November for playing with Coventry side Roger Casements in an All-Britain Junior Hurling Shield match when still registered with Parnells.
24-year-old Shore will now be available for Wexford manager Liam Dunne as the Model County plan for the 2015 campaign.
