Roisín Jordan elected Tyrone GAA chairperson

History was made in Tyrone last night with the election of Roisín Jordan as the GAA's first woman county chairperson.

As expected, Jordan was elected to the position unopposed and becomes the county's 25th chairperson, taking over from Ciarán McLaughlin, who steps down after completing his five-year term.

Jordan is a former camogie player who came through the administrative ranks, starting out with her club Eglish where she served as secretary.
