The GAA have said that a lot of clubs from around the country have been in contact with them having suffered water damage as a result of the recent bad weather.
In Limerick the offices of the Gaelic Grounds has suffered significant damage.
Water pipes that had frozen burst and led to water damage in the administration offices.
County Board officials in Limerick said the damage could cost thousands to repair as computers, phones and other electrical equipment as well as ceiling damage has occurred there. They added that other clubs in the county have also been damaged by burst pipes.
In Tyrone the club house of Pomeroy Plunketts has also suffered serious damage because of burst pipes.
Ceilings in the club house, the gym and the basketball court have collapsed. A spokesman from the club said today that the cost of repairing the damage could be in the 'tens of thousands of pounds'.
A spokeswoman for the GAA said that the overall cost of the damage suffered by GAA buildings as a result of the recent bad weather around the country is still being assessed.
She added that Croke Park didn't escape with a number of burst pipes also at headquarters.
