The FAI has revealed that it has been allotted more than 1,100 tickets for the Republic of Ireland's Euro 2016 last-16 tie against France which will be made available to Irish supporters.
Ireland fans were able to purchase 3,500 tickets for the fixture during the original sales ballot on UEFA's ticketing portal earlier this year, while a further tranche of seats went on sale online at 2pm this afternoon.
The FAI's internal sales quota from UEFA is 1,000 tickets and an additional 104 tickets have been added to that total, while the association said it would "continue to communicate with UEFA in an attempt to free up extra tickets".
French fans are expected to have a majority within at Parc Olympique Lyonnais in Lyon on Sunday, having initially purchased their tickets during the general sales phase at the beginning of the year.
"The FAI would like to thank all of the supporters for their incredible backing for the team in Paris, Bordeaux and Lille, and to commend them on their magnificent behaviour throughout the tournament," a statement read.
Chief executive John Delaney added: "I would like to thank all of our supporters for their tremendous support and I am as proud of the supporters as I am of the team. They have made their country proud and have been the greatest ambassadors.
"We will be doing everything we can to get as many Irish supporters into Sunday's game against France in Lyon."
