Promoter Eddie Hearn has said a list of a dozen potential opponents have been identified ahead of Katie Taylor's professional boxing debut later this month.
The Bray woman is due to make her first appearance in the paid ranks at Wembley Arena on 26 November, while she is also on the undercard for Anthony Joshua's world title defence in Manchester in early December.
The 2012 Olympic gold medalist signed with Hearn's Matchroom Boxing last month.
Speaking in an interview with iFL TV, Hearn said they have been "sent a list of 12 girls at her weight who she can fight and we've got to pick the right one.
"We've got to pick someone who comes to fight, who looks the part stylistically," he said.
While he said some of the preliminary rounds of women's boxing competitions "don't look great to watch", he said Taylor "is probably one of the most entertaining women fighters in the world to watch."
With this in mind Hearn said the onus falls on him to get things right for her debut.
"We've got to get it right; it's got to be a good fight and a good performance. Then we have a chance."
In the same interview Hearn also said the inclusion of women's boxing in the last two Olympic Games has exposed it to a far wider fan base.
