Michael Conlan has signed as a professional boxer with American-based Top Rank promoters.
The Belfast bantamweight confirmed the move on Twitter with a very succinct, “It’s done! #TopRank”.
The Las Vegas-based Top Rank, founded by Bob Arum, is best known for promoting former world champion Manny Pacquaio and currently represent a host of world class fighters including Jessie Vargas and Timothy Bradley.
Top Rank also have a number of Olympic medallists on their books including two-time champion Vasyl Lomachenko and Paddy Barnes’ nemesis Zou Shiming.
