There are doubts surrounding the Ireland rugby team's proposed tour of Argentina in May and June.

The IRFU have repeatedly sought confirmation of a venue for the first test, but none has been forthcoming from the Argentine Union, and patience is wearing thin at IRFU headquarters.

If matters are not resolved in the very near future, the tour may be restricted to a single test in Buenos Aires or it could be called off altogether.

Officials here at home have kept the International Rugby Board informed of developments.
