Dynamo Kiev left-back Andriy Nesmachniy is nearing a move to Blackburn Rovers, according to reports.

Rovers boss Mark Hughes is looking for reinforcements in defence and Nesmachniy appears to be a target.

According to the Daily Mail, Kiev's sporting manager Leonid Buryak claimed a deal was 'almost done' and the player added: 'I am just waiting to be told when I should fly to England.

'Unless something unforeseen happens, it should all go through.'
