Fenlon resigns from Tolka Park post

Pat Fenlon has stepped down as manager of Shelbourne this afternoon only two weeks after securing a third title in four years for the Tolka Park club.

Fenlon hit out at the club during the championship run-in, complaining about the state of club affairs off the pitch, hinting that this year would be his last season in charge of the Reds.

Fenlon stated: 'I've had a great time here at this club as both a player and manager, but unfortunately I can't stay any longer.'

Club CEO Ollie Byrne wished his former manager well: 'On behalf of everyone at our club, we want to wish Pat all the best.'
