RTÉ.ie and RTÉ Two will be showing live coverage of four eircom League games over the coming weeks, beginning with the Derry City versus Drogheda United game this Friday evening. Coverage will begin on www.rte.ie/sport at 7.55pm.

Dave Barry and Roddy Collins join Con Murphy for the match at the Brandywell and for post match analysis. The live video and audio stream will not be geoblocked, thus allowing fans of the Irish Premier Soccer League to log on from around the world and view the game.

A comprehensive highlights package of the game will also be available on-demand on RTÉ.ie from Saturday morning.

The other Eircom League games which will also be streamed live on www.rte.ie/sport include Shelbourne’s continued pursuit of the league title against Drogheda United on Friday 3rd November from 7.25pm,  while Cork City will be doing all they can do derail that pursuit when Shelbourne visit Turner’s cross the following weekend on Friday 10th November from 7.25pm. There will also be live coverage of an as yet to be confirmed match the following week, Friday 17th November.

The concluding stages of the FAI Carlsberg Cup will also be streamed live on www.rte.ie/sport as well as RTÉ Two with coverage of the semi-finals and final.  Shamrock Rovers take on St. Patrick’s Athletic on Friday 27th October at 7.25pm, while Sligo Rovers take on Derry City on Sunday 29th October at 3pm for a place in the final on Sunday 3rd December.
