In the Rowing World Cup Ireland's heavyweight men's four have already been in action this morning against world-class opposition in Lucerne.
Cormac Folan, Sean O'Neill, Sean Casey and Alan Martin missed an A final place by the narrowest margin yesterday and in today's B final they led the field at halfway before a late burst by the French pushed the Ireland back into second place.
They finished eighth overall in the competition.
