Dubs victorious in Division Two semi-final

O'Toole's clubman Kevin Flynn cracked home a crucial goal for Dublin in their 1-15 to 0-11 NHL Division Two semi-final victory over Westmeath.

Flynn pulled first time on a loose ball, six minutes into the second half, to net and push the Dubs clear after they had finished the first half 0-10 to 0-06 in front.

Flynn struck 7-06 during Dublin's five-game Division 2A run.

Andrew Mitchell kept Westmeath in the hunt in Portlaoise, scoring 0-07. Dublin's top scorers were Flynn (1-02) and Ballyboden's David Curtin (0-07).

Tommy Naughton's side will face Kerry or Mayo, who clash next Sunday, in the final.
