Dublin City will play their eircom Premier League home games out of Dalymount Park for the coming season.

It had been anticipated that Dermot Keely's Vikings would operate out of Home Farm's grounds in Whitehall but, according to the club, infrastructural problems proved insurmountable.

City Chief Executive Ronan Seery said: "When we realised that Whitehall wasn't going to be available we made contact with Gerry Cuffe in Bohemians and their management team and have concluded a deal to relocate to Phibsboro.

"I was delighted with the reception we received and we were able to conclude a package very quickly. I'm delighted the way things have worked out with Bohemians.

"It means that Dublin City will be able to provide first class facilities for both our own fans, visiting supporters and national media. We're trying to move the club onto the next level and having Dalymount Park at our disposal in a huge boost for everyone at the club. Bohs have commited significant resources into development work and it's pleasing that we can now avail of the best facilities in the capital for our home games.

City will kick-off their season with a friendly fixture away to Limerick City on February 3 at Hogan Park and also have a game pencilled in against John Gill's Dundalk on Saturday, February 25.
