Brian Kerr's Republic of Ireland had a final training session in Malahide this morning before flying out to Cyprus for the first game of their crucial World Cup qualifying double-header.
The squad left without Gary Breen, who will stay with his club Sunderland and have treatment on a calf injury.
Breen picked up the injury during Sunderland's 1-1 draw with West Ham and it remains to be seen if the defender will recover in time to join up with the rest of the squad on Sunday, ahead of next Wednesday's tie with Switzerland.
Steven Reid and Steven Carr also both missed training. Carr had been given time off by manager Brian Kerr due to a family bereavement, while Reid picked up a knock in training yesterday and sat today's session out. Both have travelled with the squad.
The suspended duo of Crystal Palace striker Clinton Morrison and Tottenham winger Andy Reid will not join up with the rest of the squad until Sunday.
