Maurice Dunne was the penalty hero as Bray Wanderers lifted the Enda McGuill Cup after a dramatic penalty shoot-out.

He converted Wanderers fifth spot kick as they overcame St Patrick's Athletic 4-3 on penalties at the Carlisle Grounds after the game finished 1-1.

The home side took the lead just after the half hour when Darren Lacey scored an easy tap-in from six yards.

But Saints drew level seven minutes later when Christy Doran sent Pat Hannigan the wrong way from the penalty spot sending the game into extra time.
