The trustees of the Shamrock Rovers 400 Club have issued a statement saying they were disappointed to learn of rumours in the media linking John Gill to the manager's job at the Hoops.
They say that not only are these rumours unfounded, they are also unhelpful to the
club at this sensitive time.
With the examinership near completion, the 400 Club trustees are confident that the High Court will bring the process to a satisfactory conclusion on July 28.
John Gill has had talks with Athlone Town over the vacant manager's position there.
