Stack to leave Arsenal

Former Ireland Under 21 goalkeeper Graham Stack is to leave Arsenal in search of first team football after a frustrating period as number two with the Premier League champions. He is set to move to FA Cup runners up Millwall.

He told www.fai.ie: "I think this could be a brilliant opportunity for me. Working with Dennis Wise and Ray Wilkins is an exciting proposition and I think Millwall are a club with big ambitions.

"The fact that they will be playing in Europe this year and have a chairman who wants to take them places is exciting too. I had a great time with Arsenal last season. I’d like to think I made my own small contribution."

Ireland qualified Midfielder Gareth Farrelly has also been linked with Millwall and he is understood to be training with them having been released by Wigan Athletic at the end of last season. Dubliner Robbie Ryan is heading out of the club having played for them in the Cup Final at right back. He is in talks with a number of Scottish Clubs.
