Tipperary will be without Lar Corbett for two months after the Thurles Sarsfields player fractured his ankle. He picked up the injury during a training session on Saturday and will now miss the Munster Hurling semi-final against Waterford at least.
It is a serious disappointment to Corbett who overcame hamstring and back injuries during the League campaign to make himself available for selection.
Tipp face Waterford on June 6 with the winners going into the Munster final on June 27 – a match Corbett will also miss should they qualify.
