The Tipperary County Board are to launch an investigation into an alleged assault on inter-county referee Seamus Roche.
Roche was allegedly knocked to the ground after awarding frees to Holycross in the closing stages of their drawn Senior Hurling Championship game against Boherlahan on Monday night in Thurles.
The Tipp board are awaiting the referee's report before formally investigating the incident.
