Robbie Keane has pulled out of Ireland's friendly against Poland tomorrow afternoon - missing out on his 50th cap in the process.
The Tottenham striker picked up a knock to his head against Arsenal on Sunday and failed to meet up with the rest of the squad as they departed Dublin for Poland yesterday afternoon.
Keane decided to wait until this morning to see how he felt but after consultation with Tottenham's medical staff this morning, the striker pulled out of the friendly international.
Irish boss Brian Kerr said: "The medical staff at Spurs had
another look at Robbie this morning and said it wouldn't be right for him to fly, he's still feeling sick and getting headaches."
Kerr said he had not yet finalised his team but revealed there would be first starts for Liam Miller - the Celtic player bound for Manchester United in the summer - in the centre of midfield, and Cardiff striker Alan Lee.
